For Outlook mailboxes not connected to an Exchange server, there is a much simpler method. This won't work if you use an Exchange server, as Outlook instead stores the mail in an OST file in that case. But, for non-Exchange mailboxes, Outlook stores the mailbox in a PST file so instead of copying the mailbox and exporting to a new PST file, just copy the existing one. For at least Office 2000 and newer on Windows XP & 2000, the default location is:
ReplyDeleteC:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
In there you should find Outlook.pst. That pst file is the default mailbox and contains all of the mailbox data (Inbox, Sent, Outbox, Calendar, Tasks, etc.).
Hey thanks for your comments. Really appreciate.
ReplyDeleteWhat can I do if the connection with AS does not work after the re-install Outlook? The same error message from Activesync shows a Support code 0x85010014, and the calendar and contacts are not syncronized?
ReplyDeleteThanks.
This code means that there is a problem with Outlook on your PC. Do a backup of your Pst file and uninstall Outlook. Reboot your computer and reinstall Outlook. Keep me posted by sending an email to Meslierlp@hotmail.com
