Hello Linley, can you tell me where you bought your Windows phone in Mauritius, i've been waiting for a wp7 mobile for so long.
ReplyDeleteHi Viccks,
ReplyDeleteI got mine from Maurisystems. They were selling them during the Orange expo. Unfortunately, the Mozart is out of stock and there is no Windows Phone on the market right now. Probably you can get one online or abroad, but I advise you wait until Mango is out. Mauritsystems and Nokia will start offering new devices with the zinglyupdate.
the OS update should be seemless right? but still i'll wait for mango..
ReplyDeleteamazon doesn't ship htc hd 7 or any htc to mauritius, i've tried with samsung as well but still in vain
you've used android, wp7 and ios which one do you prefer and i hope being an MVP doesn't bias your choice :)
I had no issues with the Nodo update. I don't know if you will consider this bias, but the best mobile OS I've used is Windows Mobile. Remember the PocketPC/Smartphone 2003SE/WM5/WM6.1/WM6.5. Those were the most powerful OS on the market. I still have my Touch Pro 2 and HTC Advantage handy. I also like Android and My Nexus One, just like the Mozart, is great hardware, beautiful devices. Android is feature pack, a bit like Windows Mobile, but not as powerful.
ReplyDeleteRegarding iOS, just one word: too "simplistic. But the iPad is great for reading books, magazines and games. Hope that answers your question.
