Tips: Enable/Disable Recent Programs on WM6.1 Standard.

Microsoft added a new feature in Windows Mobile 6.1 called Recent Programs. It's a kind of Most Recently Used programs list that is useful if using the Sliding panel homescreen. The latter does not display the MRU list at the top of the screen, the way the default Windows theme does. Whichever theme you are using, the Recent Programs feature is enabled by default.
So, what is it really? When you click Start on a non-touchscreen device, it displays the programs that you have recently  used. The left softkey changes to All Programs. Clicking that displays the list of installed software.
Since I use the sliding homescreen on my device, I find the Recent Programs feature to be very useful. But if you want to disable it, just go to Start > Settings > Home Screen and uncheck "Show Recent Programs".
