If you've enabled Cleartype on your device, you must have noticed that when you switch to landscape mode, the settings don't apply anymore. And you just wonder why? Since we'll never get any answers, this is how you do it. Fire up your Registry Editor and carefully change these settings:
HKLM\System\Gdi\ClearTypeSettings\ and change the key OffOnRotation to 0 (Zero).
